Four structures worth keeping

Formulas are starting points, not scripts. They keep copy focused when you are writing ten variations in an afternoon.

  • Problem, agitate, solve: name the pain, make it vivid, present the fix
  • Before and after: describe life without the product, then with it
  • Feature to benefit: take a feature and finish the sentence with what it means for the customer
  • Question hook: ask the question your customer is already asking

Match the formula to the stage

Cold audiences respond to problem led copy because it earns attention. Warm audiences already know the problem, so feature to benefit and proof led copy convert better. Test one formula per audience before mixing them.

Using AI to draft variations

Give the model the formula, the audience and one real customer quote. Ask for five variations, then edit hard. AI is good at volume; you are responsible for truth and tone.
